Two Trees CNC Vacuum Cleaner Monster — Hands-On Review
We were really excited to order and set up the Two Trees CNC Vacuum Cleaner Monster. The ergonomic design and compact form factor were what sold us on making the purchase, so we decided to give it a try.
Construction
The unit is made from powder-coated sheet metal with generally good tolerances and a solid, professional appearance.
Controls
Simple and functional — an ON/OFF switch and a vacuum motor speed control ranging from low to high.
Accessories
The package includes two fixed and two articulating wheels, vacuum hose connectors (3D-printed), a vacuum hose with clamps, and a sleek hose attachment for the CNC router motor.
However, the included hose attachment only fits the small motor shipped with the TTC450 Pro and will not fit larger 30k RPM wood routers.
On the plus side, the machine features a large, well-fitted slide-out air filter and a generously sized dust bin — both nicely executed.
Shortcomings
Unfortunately, several details were disappointing:
The Allen head screws supplied for wheel attachment stripped easily (poor-quality alloy).
The wheel mounting holes required re-tapping because the threads were clogged with powder coat.
The hose attachments were 3D-printed in PLA, which felt like a corner cut on a product at this price point.
All of these could have been forgiven if the vacuum performance were up to par — but that’s where this product falls short.
Performance
The motor and fan assembly simply do not produce meaningful suction. There are no published airflow specifications (CFM), which should have been an early warning.
For reference, a small shop vac typically pulls 85–100 CFM, and larger ones exceed 150 CFM. This unit delivers nowhere near that level.
When I contacted Two Trees support, I was advised to “check for a bent hose,” which didn’t inspire confidence.
Final Thoughts
At $439 delivered, the ergonomics and aesthetics are nice, but the lack of suction performance makes it a poor investment.
You can find far better options for the same price — they may not look as sleek, but they’ll actually perform the job.
